Prices

Prices move a little with hair length, extensions, and how many people share the same time. Want a trial? Say so when you book. It is the same add-on used for bridal makeup.

If you have more than one night

There is a single-event look for Mehndi or Jaggo, a series if you want every pre-wedding night covered, and party options (makeup only, full glam, glam plus a trial). Ask for the series if you already know the list of events. It saves a week of back-and-forth texts.

Studio or on location

Thurston Place is the quiet option: parking, proper light, nobody walking through while you are getting ready. Coming to you is better when the photographer is already at the house, or when a few of you want to get ready together in Langley or Surrey.

People in Chilliwack and Mission often come to the studio on a weekday and book travel for weekend events. If you live in Abbotsford, either works without turning it into a big drive.

A few things that help

• Send a couple of photos that look like your hair and skin.
• Say the outfit colour and whether the jewellery is gold or silver.
• Mention glasses, hijab, or a high neckline.
• If you cry at speeches, say so. We will do waterproof eyes from the start.
• Arrive with clean, dry hair unless Jass asked for second-day hair.

Hair in this weather

Summers here get warm and a bit humid. Winters are wet. Updos get extra pins and a proper set. Prandi and other South Asian styles take more time than a blowout, which is why they are priced on their own. If you will be outdoors at Mill Lake, Fort Langley, or a backyard in Vedder, mention it.

Makeup that lasts the night

Skin gets prepped, then makeup. Jass has been doing event work for 18 years, so the finish is built for heat, dancing, and a lot of phone photos. You will get a simple blot-and-lip plan you can actually use in a dark hall.

When to book

Birthdays and parties: a few weeks is usually fine. Pre-wedding events in summer: treat them more like bridal and book earlier. Same-week requests happen. Weekends go first.

Book a time

Call or WhatsApp with the date, city, and whether you want hair, makeup, or both. If it is the wedding morning itself, use the bridal page so the package matches the day.
